A tight game at Goodison Park saw a very unlikely winner coming from 19yr old Dan Gosling in the 117th minute of a match that stretched into extra time. With this result, Everton progress to the 5th round of the F.A. Cup to face Aston Villa in what has the makings of another hard fought game. Tonight’s match though wasn’t pretty and it wasn’t easy. Indeed a number of players saw cards today as is typical for the oldest derby in the land. However, Everton remained composed through to the end to grind out a result against their cross town rivals. 1-0 was the final score.
While it wasn’t the best night for either team, as an Everton supporter you have to be chuffed at the bit to go through against Liverpool. Everton’s next match in league play will be against Bolton home at Goodison Park.

I was streaming the game live thanks to channelsurfing.net which cut to commercials?!? during the few seconds in which Everton scored… saw the replay but not quite the same…
