Reports have come out today from numerous outlets detailing Israeli fire hitting buildings flying the U.N. flag. According to stories, these buildings were clearly marked as U.N. refugee centers. Reports also indicate a number of civilian casualties including three deaths due to these incidents. Unfortunately nothing can be independently confirmed at the moment as Israel has prevented journalists from entering Gaza to cover the conflict and recent developments. If the reports turn out to be true and Israel does not provide sufficient explanation as to why they would even consider firing on a designated U.N. area… well they may have just lost their last shred of credibility internationally.
