Everton v Arsenal: 1-1

In a match that, for me at least, did not go as expected, Everton nearly took all three points from Arsenal had it not been for the heroics of R. Van Persie in stoppage time. everton-goodison-crest1

I don’t have a lot to say about the match as I was unable to catch it live, but from the reports I read, Everton had an excellent game. If anything, I had thought prior to the game that it would be Everton struggling to come back from behind, but not this time and for that they deserve all the plaudits. Check these links for match coverage: EvertonFC.com, PremierLeague.com.

On the upside, Fellaini didn’t get any cards so he’s good for a few more games thankfully! Up next, Everton travel to Old Trafford to face league leaders Manchester United.

  1. Everton got lucky. Had Arsenal not had injuries I’m sure we would have seen a repeat of this.

Oh and I thought I’d give the original post a proper logo for people to look at. šŸ˜‰
